Measuring Your Collar
For Buckle
Measure from where the material is wrapped around the centre bar of the buckle to the hole that your dog currently wears it on.
For Side Release
Measure from where the material meets the base of one clip to the tip of the other clip.
Please Note
Our custom collars have 5 holes to allow for adjustment. The measurement that you take from your dog’s collar will become the measurement to the ‘middle hole’ on your new collar.
Every manufacturer uses different size guides. Please ensure to provide the measurements as instructed above. The measurement around a dogs neck does not always align to the measurement of a collar laid flat.
As our items are custom made to the specifications of customers they are non-refundable unless faulty. This means if for some reason the collar you order does not fit we are unable to amend this for you and therefore it is essential that you provide an accurate measurement upon ordering.
Hardware Info
We have 5 hardwares to select from, each with different finishes and properties. To ensure longevity we advise regularly cleaning and drying the hardware on your items.
Nickel – Most commonly ordered and a classic look. Silver in colour with a glossy finish. Although durable, coating can scratch and when damaged can rust or corrode.
Black hardware – Black plating on Nickel hardware. A beautiful matte finish and a perfect match for a lot of designs. Please be aware that since this hardware is coated it is more easily scratched. Black pigment can transfer from hardware on to light colours of biothane. recommended for use on darker colours.
Rose Gold – A beautiful rose gold colour with a glossy finish. This hardware looks great against many biothane colours. Although durable, coating can scratch and when damaged can rust or corrode.
Brass – Made from solid brass. Gold in colour with a brushed satin finish. Nickel free and corosion free. Ideal for prolonged exposure to wet and muddy conditions.
Stainless Steel – Silver in colour with a brushed satin finish. Nickel free and corosion free. ideal for prolonged exposure to wet and muddy conditions.
