Why Biothane?
BioThane® is often called the 'vegan equivilent of leather' but it is actually more durable, cleanable, stronger and easier to maintain. It is also readily available in many different colours.
Biothane is completely stink proof! No matter how soggy and muddy it gets it won't start to smell!
BioThane® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It is a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating.
It's texture whilst being tough and durable is relatively soft to touch, making it perfect for holding in your hand and being worn by your dog!
Whilst Biothane is very strong, everything has a breaking point! Break strengths: 12mm - 226.8kg, 16mm - 283.5kg, 19mm - 340.2kg, 25mm - 453.6kg,
Super easy to Clean
Cleaning biothane is a simple as running it under some water! We recommend a cloth and water, or after extra muddy walks just bit of dish soap! Another great alternative is running a wet wipe over your product. We recommend giving your products a quick clean after each use as dirt that is left to build up over time can get tough to remove. If you take care of your biothane product little and often it’ll last you a VERY long time!
